We went to see the most amazing play of Wind In The Willows in Melbourne's Botanical Gardens. The play was put on by the Australian Shakespeare Company, so the actors were SUPERB! (See the emphasis there? Needed it, that's how good it was!!!!!!) It was a 'moving' play, in that we moved locations during the play, but in fact we moved only once - from the riverbank to Toad Hall ;). During the performance the head bunny came and sat next to Indie; she did not notice for a bit but when she did, she had a scare.
We drove down to Flinders later on in the afternoon. We did some snorkeling at Flinders, but we did not see anything of interest. I had an allergic to something in the water which was not so much fun.

AO
We went to the Australian Open, which is one of the grand slam tennis tournaments. The other grand slam tournaments are Wimbledon, Roland Garros and the American Open. My family and I watched Dimitriov play against Chung, who nobody's heard of, but Dimitriov is 15th best in the world, so that was cool. Walking out we came to a play area and we dressed up in silly tennis balls and basically fooled around for a bit. After we walked to an incredible lane covered in colourful graffiti called Hosier Lane. We stopped and had smoothies at a really funky café in the lane.

Arrived!
When we landed, we hired our car - a Toyota Corolla. I felt a bit squished with my two sisters in the back. I miss my van. We drove to Hawthorne (Melbourne) to met my dad's old friends, Jo and Johnny. We went for lunch at a little cafe down the road called Le Clec. I had a waffle pavlova, which is a waffle with meringue, and a hot chocolate. We went out for fish and chips for dinner on the beach.

The Horrible Plane Rides
To get to Australia it took my family and me two days to get there. Our flights were from Trudeau airport (Montreal) to Newark airport (New Jersey); that flight was an hour and a half. From there we had four hours to our next flight to LAX (Los Angeles); that plane ride was five hours. When we got to LA, my youngest sister, Zoe, and I passed out. We all felt awful - motion sickness runs in the family and I suffer the worst of all. From there we had to wait another five hours until our flight to Melbourne Australia, and that fight lasted sixteen hours. I watch so many movies that I cannot remember the movies I watched during the other fights, but I know I watched a lot and can give you the details scene by scene of the movie X-Men Apocalypse.😀
